Senior Agent & Founder
Melissa Beer is the senior agent and founder of Rebelle Events based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2003, after graduating from Wartburg College with degrees in Marketing and Public Relations, Melissa moved to the Twin Cities where she worked as an agent for an entertainment booking agency representing all genres of live entertainment. In that role, she also served as Assistant Director to the State Directors for the Miss Universe organization, producing the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA state pageants for several states throughout the Midwest. During her time there, Melissa became deeply interested in her work of entertainer and volunteer recruitment, development and placement. She especially enjoyed working with young men and women as they navigated the entertainment booking and live event process, many times for the first time.
Internships are available with Rebelle Events throughout the school year, summer months and onsite at college programming conferences. We will work with your institution whenever possible to make sure you receive all available credit and will publicly sing your praises at every opportunity. Internship responsibilities include every aspect of running an agency and will be tailored depending on individual interests and skill sets of each intern.
